  6. calculator. It was developed and tested on the Newton 2000 under OS 2.1.
  7. The program is freeware. RPN users should be familiar with almost all of
  8. the functions provided. This is a description of the less obvious.
  9. Handwriting is used to insert numbers. The '.', 'e' and '<-' buttons
  10. insert a decimal point, an e (exponent notation) and delete of the last
  11. character on the line, respectively. All standard HWR guestures can be
  12. used to edit the value. A small bulb to the left of the input line
  13. indicates a non-numeric content; such a value is not transferred to the X
  14. register.

  74. simple picker. When multiple clipboards are invoked, the main or active
  75. clipboard will be black. All other clipboards will be a shade of gray.

  85. record notes on the MP2000 without opening the lid. DSR-1 uses the Power
  86. Switch to start and stop recording. Recording may be done with Newton on,
  87. off or by using buttons in DSR-1. V1.20 adds lots of options, has more
  88. internal error checking and other code changes from previous versions.
  89. DSR-1 has three modes of use. When you use the power switch to activate a
  90. recording, DSR-1 is shown on the screen and you can also use the buttons

  155. game is to remove all of the tiles. You can only remove tiles that match
  156. each other - both number and design. In addition the plant/flower tiles
  157. and the season tiles all match each other. To remove a pair of tiles, tap
  158. on them. If they match, they will disappear, else the newton will ping at
  159. you. Here's the trick: you can only tap on tiles that you can slide out to
  160. the left or right, and that are not underneath another. Think about the
  161. real game, (played with physical tiles) you have to be able to remove the
  162. piece without disturbing any others. That's it. In some ways, it's more of

  295. includes the delete, poof, scroll, and view effects. Each has its own
  296. checkbox for turning that respective effect on or off. By turning off the
  297. delete effect, you will no longer get the crumpling of the paper with the
  298. toss into the trash. The delete will just happen. Turning off the scrub
  299. effect will turn off the poof that happens when you scrub a word, but you
  300. will still get the poof sound. The scroll effects pertains to the slide
  301. effect that happens when you scroll in Notes or other such applications
